Witness the flash dart earthbound
The flash leaves a lasting after image
Blinding light followed by deafening sound
Amazing beauty that can easily damage
Mother nature shows her awesome power
Strike after strike, she flaunts her magic
The artistry in lighting strikes, seen hour upon hour
Beauty so pure but at tines the ending is tragic
Look to the skies, mouth agape, stare in wonder
As lightening dances between every cloud
Brace yourself against oncoming thunder
And embrace the force regardless of how loud.
